Introducing the newest cohort of organizations committed to diversifying STEM education and addressing the STEM teacher shortage.
At Beyond100K, we believe in the transformative power of collaboration to create a more equitable and inclusive future in STEM education. We’re thrilled to welcome our 41 new partner organizations to the network, each committed to recruiting, preparing, and retaining diverse STEM teachers. Together, we are addressing systemic inequities, and ensuring Black, Latine, and Indigenous students and teachers have the resources and support they need to thrive.
This milestone marks an exciting new chapter as we work alongside an incredibly diverse and innovative group of partners, all united by a shared goal: ending the STEM teacher shortage and empowering the next generation of STEM learners and leaders.
This year’s new partners represent exciting diversity, innovation, and scale:
- Historic Firsts: Salish Kootenai College becomes our first Tribal College, and Advancing Indigenous People in STEM (AISES) joins as the first Indigenous-serving STEM organization, advancing representation for Indigenous communities.
- Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs): Two prominent HSIs, including one of the largest in the nation, the Mary Lou Fulton College of Education at Arizona State University, join us in their commitment to equity and access for Latinx students in STEM.
- Championing Black STEM Educators: Four organizations committed to recruiting and retaining Black STEM educators bolster our collective focus on representation and mentorship.
- State-Level Impact: Partners such as the New Mexico Public Education Department and the Southern Regional Education Board are joining to lead transformative efforts at a statewide level.
- Regional Impact:
-
- Southwest: Nine organizations serving Latine and Indigenous populations in Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Oklahoma, and Texas.
- Tennessee: Five organizations addressing local challenges to improve access for historically underserved communities.
- Innovating at Scale: Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), the nation’s second-largest district, brings its expertise to impact hundreds of thousands of students.
Voices from the Field
Our new partners bring energy, passion, and expertise to our shared mission. Here’s what some of them have to say about joining the Beyond100K network:
Building Equity and Inclusion

Uplifting and supporting affinity programs for historically marginalized communities within the teaching workforce is a crucial step toward creating a more equitable and inclusive STEM ecosystem.” – National Association of Black STEM Teachers
Addressing Systemic Challenges
“What excites UCCS most about joining the Beyond100K network is the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded institutions and organizations that are deeply committed to ending the STEM teacher shortage. The prospect of exchanging knowledge, sharing best practices, and working together toward a common goal energizes us, as we believe that collective action is the most powerful way to address systemic challenges in education. ” – University of Colorado, Colorado Springs
Strengthening Collaboration
“By collaborating within the network, we look forward to breaking down silos, eliminating duplication of efforts, and collectively advancing our impact, ultimately fostering more effective growth and support for STEM education state and nationwide.” – Idaho STEM Ecosystem
Each of our new partners brings unique expertise and innovative ideas to the table. Together, we’re laying the groundwork for systemic impact in STEM education, building a teaching workforce that reflects the diversity of our nation’s students.
