What does it take to solve one of the most pressing education challenges of our time?

At Beyond100K, we believe that solving the STEM teacher shortage isn’t just about filling classrooms. It’s about creating a future where every student sees themselves in STEM—and every teacher is equipped and empowered to help them get there.

Our 2024 Annual Report is a reflection of the progress we’ve made together and the bold work still ahead.

This year, we supported partners in piloting new models of teacher leadership, belonging, and support, helping shape a future where STEM teachers are celebrated as innovators and changemakers, not just instructors.

We also saw big results in the numbers:

  • 33,000+ new STEM teachers prepared toward our goal of 150,000 by 2032
  • 70 new organizations joined the movement, from HBCUs and tribal colleges to school districts and nonprofits
  • Thousands of connection points across the network, from co-designed projects to national gatherings
  • Momentum behind ideas that scale, as partners test and refine strategies to build a more just and thriving STEM education system

The report is filled with stories of what’s working, what we’re learning, and how we’re moving forward—together.
