As the Associate Director of Programs at Beyond100K, Lauren is committed to supporting meaningful cross-organizational collaboration to address the STEM teacher shortage. She is responsible for developing and overseeing the vehicles, experiences, and tools that support our partners in creating lasting solutions to complex problems.
Lauren’s career has been grounded in experience design, a human-centered, cross-disciplinary practice of designing products, processes, services, events, journeys, and environments with a focus on a user’s needs, contexts, and feelings. She brings this expertise to her work with Beyond100K partners and our internal team. She is a graduate of Minneapolis College of Art and Design where she specialized in user experience design, ethnographic research, usability, and brand strategy.
Lauren joined the team in 2017, and as Senior Community Designer & Manager she focused on supporting our network partners in doing long-term, collaborative problem-solving work—designing, overseeing, implementing, and evaluating longstanding programs such as Project Teams, as well as developing internal systems, processes, and materials that support program management and implementation.
